    Personally wouldn't do much on a HK94 other than a Tac-latch.

I wouldn't dare add a paddle to anything other than an HK 91 or a clone.

Curious, why is that? Why specifically only a HK91?

Because there are many more HK91's than HK94's out there that aren't converted.
Adding a paddle to a HK91 might hold it's value since people shoot them, but on a HK94 I believe it would drop it's collectors value, especially if it's unfired.

But that's just my 2 cents.

Meh... the guns suck without them. I'd do it. Collector value be damned. Whoever you sell it to will do it. Why not enjoy it for everything it could be while you have it? He didn't mention anything about it being unfired and if it was, I wouldn't think he'd be askin' about installing paddle releases and such...

I'll never do that or change anything on my 94 it's just not right to mess with a gun that there were only a little over 15600 imported and a ton of those have been converted or SBR'd

If you do not want to do any perm. mods, the Tach latch thing is an option. I got one when the first came out and decided to get rid of it within a month. Good idea for sure, but it just did not feel right. I then went and had all the HKs converted to the factory anti-rattle combat style flapper.

Many smiths offer this service. I had Curtis Higgins do mine many years ago (S&H of OK). Basically what they do (or should do) is half drill the push pin hole, mill as needed to insert factory parts and then weld over the hole to return to semi specs. Someone good can do the without requiring a full re-fin of the gun.

Collectors value hit? Maybe with a full refin not to HK color spec. Other than that, Bah, this is the way that the guns should have come from the factory in the first place. As long as done properly by a pro, the feature increase value IMHO. Only gun that would not get this would be a factory PSG-1.
