    Default HK bipods

Im looking for a G3 bipod. Ive seen alot of POF and Promags out there but Im affraid to try one. Ive only found a few HK bipod form $195 to $240 (with metal feet). If I have to the $195 is okay but not going over $200 if I can. Any one know a good source? And are the copies any good?

Check www.robertrtg.com he's got some of the best prices around. I don't think he has them listed on the site but give him a call. You can also try www.hkparts.net

I dont have any experience with aftermarket... if it's a genuine HK rifle, put the genuine stuff on it, IMO.

I am interested in finding this out as well. How do you determine if it is really HK?

Someone has to know. I know its not as a good as a real HK part, but niether are vector or PTR clones and people seem to be happy with those.

While the POF Bypod does the job , it is not as nicely made as the HK, many machine marks and gives a look of third world manufacture. If i had the money to upgrade i would. You cant see in the pic but the feet show machine marks and the locking mechanism is a little stiff/cheesy.Paint is applied heavy and will scratch fairly easy with use.
