Are there any other than the factory 10 round magazines available for the USC? I know that if converted to UMP there are other mags available but I have the civilian version and want to keep at least one that way. If there are any others I would like to know what and where. Thanks for the info.

Yep that's it ^^^ 10-round mags or the 50-round drums that came out a while back.
Convert it to a UMP to get the real value out of it. Unless you live in a gun-unfriendly state, leaving it in its USC state means you over-paid for a low-capacity pistol-caliber carbine. You would probably have been better off with a Mini-14, an AR-15 or a Beretta Cx4 Storm (all of which can be had for about half the price of the USC). I'm not knocking H&K's quality, it beats all 3 of those IMO but not for double the price.
Unless you live in a state where high-capacity mags are not allowed, do the UMP conversion. It greatly increases the value of the rifle relative to the alternatives.
