That is a great price! Dod you find the 91 locally?
I just picked up a HK 91 (Restamped G3 at some point) with a heavy buffer and large rubber butt stock. Only issue with it is the guy installed a paddle mag release and left an area of the shelf that needs to be reblued. A very small area that would not be visable with a clipper and pinned lower. Other then that it is great. Cost was $1200 plus tax and credit card charge.
Now I have the HK I wanted and was able to keep the little crap box of a 93 because the price was great.
PS, nothing wrong with the 93, just really wanted a 91.

These aren't the droids you're looking for.....
I live in the Tampa area, it was at the Fort Myers gun show,![]()
Damnit, Fort Myers is a bit too far from Ocala or I probably would have been there to steal it from you.
:D
Great find! congrats.
Great price! Dont think 91's ever came fron the factory with HBAR so I'd guess safe to say that it's not a genuine German barrel. The factory triple frame doesn't fit over the typical HBAR either so it was either modified or perhaps could be PTR barrel/triple frame. I'd look over it carefully at the markings (compare them to your 93) to make sure it's a genuine 91... you could easily re-stamp ANYTHING onto a receiver, even the factory HK markings.
