for the 93, there is really no options for other buffers(the stock you have has a buffer), only option is to install a 21E buttpad
on the 91, the 2 stage buffer is your best bet.
I would not use the Buffer Tech or JLD rubber/poly buffers
Hello,
The hide on my shoulder is getting tired of shooting my 91 and 93 with the old style A3 stocks. I am awaiting paperwork on a new SEF Qualified sear pack to clear, and certainly don't want to be shooting these guns FA with the "meat grinder" stocks installed. I will likely leave the newer style A3 stock on my 94 to MP5 conversion. With that background info out of the way, I will get to the point. I recently bought a couple fairly nice date coded stocks for the 91 and 93, but am concerned about the lack of recoil buffers.
Using the search function, I have seen various buffer options. However, I am still uncertain on how to proceed. I have seen synthetic aftermarket buffers that simply install in the stock, mechanical factory Heavy buffers, and even buffered bolt carriers. What do you recommend I do, if anything, in order to prolong the life of my rifle caliber guns during FA fire? I am thinking each caliber may require a different approach. Other than selling them :D, what would you do with each of these stocks to prep them for FA fire?
Thanks for your suggestions!
BTW...I paid $300 for both stocks, coded IB and ID. They are actually in better condition than the pics indicate. Did I get scorched?

Thanks, Landpimp.
Anyone have a lead on who has two stage heavy buffers in stock at a fair price?
Don't imagine these can also be used in the 93?

nope, not for a 93 and there is no need for it IMOP...the 93 is plenty heavy and not much recoil at all
Thank you, Sir.
