    Default G3/Cetme question

    I am thinking about picking up a Cetme kit. It does not have a barrel. My question is does anyone here know who has cetme barrels for sale? If I can't get a Cetme barrel will a G3 barrel work? I have noticed a good majority of parts are interchangable between the two. If a G3 barrel does work anyone know where one is for sale? Thank you in advance. Matthew

    wait and get a G-3 kit , A well known person will have them with us made barrels very soon , for between 3-400 .. cetme is junk

    Yes, the barrel will work. That said, I wouldn't get a CETME kit (I have two:D ) unless you wanted to build a CETME.

    Chec Brother is correct. They will be here very very soon. Also getting the US parts count on a HK is much easier and cheaper if I'm correct.

    Most Cetme kits are pretty worn, check the bolt horizontal roller slot if its about .318" to .320" or so then its good. A g3 barrel works fine. I have an unissued kit built on a SW3 receiver by IGF, I have to say its almost good as a MARS import from the 1960's.
