As long as the points you are mounting them on are on the same plane. they are made of plastic, so you can file to fit if you need.

I had to take the front and rear sights off my SL8 to put a scope on it, and now I'm wondering, will those sights attach to a standard Rail, and not the HK rail? See, I'm building an AR right now, and I'm looking into a BUIS, but I remembered I have those HK sights, but I need to know if it would line up with the front sight of an AR... Anyone know? I'm away from my home for a few days, and have yet to get my AR upper. Any help would be GREAT!
Thanks tons!

A Sucking Chest Wound is god's way of saying "Slow Down"
Well, im using the default M4 front sight, so I know the bases wont line up, but I'm wondering if the top will...
I know that the BUIS from an SL8-1 rail will not fit the aluminum SL8-6 rail without pounding them on (I tried) IOW I don't think they will go on easily but like dirt bag said it is possible. HTH
Just watch with AR's. The nice thing about AR's (go ahead HKPro, scorn me for defending my first love!!) is that everything is standard. The sight may fit on the rail, but may not be high/low enough to properly zero.
If need be, I can take calipers and measure the height of my Troy rear BUIS' peep sight to give you a rough guestimate. However, I highly doubt an HK sight is going to work on an AR15 except for maybe the 416/MR223 stuff.
I have a Troy rear BUIS and carry handles I can compare to.
If you want HK sights on an AR, check out these guys:

That'll work 100% and allow you to co-witness with any standard AR15 optic (Aimpoint, Trijicon ACOG, EOTech)
OK, I'm going to my dad's house today for Thanksgiving and I'll see if I can use his calipers then.
OK dude, here's the best I can do. I am no machinest, I'm a web designer so someone may want to back me up here.
Measuring from the top of the Pic. rail, I measure 1.425" from the very top of a Pic. rail to the center of my Troy BUIS.
I'm using regular (non-digital) calipers and it says I'm at 1 and 4/10" and on the dial I'm half way between 20 and 30. So I called my dad and he agrees I'm at 1.425".
I'll post a pic later if I can.
