    Don't get your hopes up here in the US. After January 16, 2009 the odds of it making it stateside are very slim. :(

    16th? thought it was the 20th?

    I sincerely hope that the dems will focus on the economy rather than gun grabbing for the next couple years. That being said, I'm still doing my part to bolster my favorite firearms related dealer's economys...

    The 20th doesn't matter. The 1989 import ban lasted through over 11 years of Republican presidencies and 8 years of a Democratic presidency. Even if the election had turned out differently, the import ban is on autopilot and it's doubtful that any effort would have been made to change things. I think the chances of a US MR223 only changed from slim to almost none, not from a certainty to almost none.
