HDPS out for the holdiays?

I asked some questions through e-mail and sent out my order info on the 19th. After that I have heard nothing. I sent another e-mail and ended up sending a fax the other day, but I havn't heard anything.

I wouldn't be so worried, but the fact that I can't talk to anybody and I just sent my CC info over fax and e-mail to some random site has me slightly antsy. That and the part I wanted to get for someone for Christmas, but that's kind of blown out the window :(

Anybody else been able to get through the HDPS or are they taking a few weeks off without telling anyone?

Yeah i just sent an email today, its akward that i cant call someone and get what i want. Sort of unsettling, but who else does these conversions besides TN?

Well I guess they were just off last week. My order was processed this afternoon.

I have worked at a small business that has had trouble answering the phone now and then.

That said, if I call more then three times and get no answer - You get no business from me. Period. Too much of a hassle if there is a problem, I want to know status, or I need some other piece of information.

VERY few companies do work to such a degree that they are excused from answering the phone. HDPS does fine work, but not at that level imo.

Yeah , sort of makes me feel a little uneasy, but who else can do the work besides them?

i got a hold of him early this month for work on my sl8. he said he was pretty busy and could fit me in on the third week of jan.

well, we'll see what happens. i will agree though that he is hard to get a hold of since it took me a few times.

I speak with Ed often, and can assure you he is hard at it. He is swamped with work right now and it is real difficult to get in touch with him. Your gun and funds are safe with him and as far as quality of his work, in my opinion he is to the plastic guns what Murray Urbach is to the sheet metal guns...

Yeah he has emailed me back since i last posted and answered all my question, really stand up guy, i cant wait until i send off my bolt to him to mill.

i emailed him him a couple times in the last couple of weeks to get my sl8 converted. with no response from him.if it wasn't for the quality of work he did on my usc.i would go some where else.quality is worth the wait
