    Default G36 Single Optic ?

    I have a 3x single optic. Picked it up fairly cheap, but it has lots of specks in it. Really just an annoyance. Does anyone service these to remove the specks?

    I am in the same boat. For over a year I have been calling HK to have the optics tube cleaned with no luck. I was told they do this but somehow I am being ignored. I have the contact information I can PM you if you want to attempt this.

    I spoke to one of the mooks that answers the phone in customer service and he said they won't/can't do anything about it. What a shock.......

    That problem is a well-known and documented problem with the older optical sight tubes made by Hensoldt for the G36 optics, both single optics and dual sights with electronic red dot. The only solution is to replace the optical tube. Squeaky wheel gets the lube! I would stay on them to get this manufacturing flaw addressed to your satisfaction.
