How to post pictures.

First of all you have to download the pics to your hard drive, then go to ImageShack and click on browse (circled in red).


Then find your pic and highlight it and click on "open" (circled in red).


After that click on "Host it" (yes you've guessed it, circled in red)


Next you need to highlight the link called "Hotlink for forums (1)" (once again circled in red) as shown.


Now right-click and select "copy" (circled in red as usual) in the menu that shows up below and to the right of your cursor.


All that's left is to paste your link in your post.

When you copy and paste from Image Shack only a link appears on the post. Can you have the pic that you want to show on the post instead of the link to it?

Also, choochboost, do you have the steps for posting pics from photo bucket?

Put the url between [img] [/img] and it will display the image in your post. The forum software has changed a bit since Swedish Chef posted those directions, that's why the change.

Please help, how do I post fullsize picture in the post?

I have typed the [img] in front and the [/img] in the end but with no luck.

Would someone help out, aparently I am a total ya-hoo;)

I then type [img] at the front of the paste and [/img] at the rear.

What might help, would be someone to post dummy proof steps on how to add pics in post, maybe in the FAQ section? Or here in rookie corner.
