Some things to help keep things organized on this forum:

51 post minimum to list here.

1. Please prefix your ad with:
WTS: (Want To Sell)
WTB: (Want To Buy)
WTT: (Want To Trade)

Or a combination such as WTS/T: (WTS or WTT). Posts that are not properly prefixed will be deleted.

2. Please post an asking price for your item if it is a WTS, or if it is a WTT ad but you will consider selling it outright.

3. No links to auctions or auction style posts unless it is an item you feel is of great interest to other HKPro members and it is not your item.

4. Please only post HK firearms here. A WTT ad of non HK for HK firearms is okay (e.g. WTT Beretta 92FS for HK USP 9f). Please do not abuse this to try and sell your non HK items.

HK clones are ok with the exception of SW products.

5. If in doubt or if you need a clarification, please e-mail one of the mods.

NFA LEGAL CAUTION!

Discussion of National Firearms Act (NFA) subjects is frequent on HKPRO.COM LLC. NFA items, their possession, creation, purchase, selling, and conversion are regulated by a host of federal, state, and local laws. Be advised that HKPRO.COM LLC, its administrators, and its moderators make no warranty, expressed or implied, that information posted about NFA subjects is valid or accurate. Information posted is strictly and exclusively the opinion of the poster and is not endorsed in any way by HKPRO.COM LLC. You are exclusively responsible for determining which laws are applicable to you and HKPRO.COM LLC always recommends that you retain legal counsel if you are uncertain as to what the law is and how it applies to your particular situation. NFA laws are strictly enforced by the BATFE and other law enforcement organizations.

“Violations of the National Firearms Act are punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison and forfeiture of all devices or firearms in violation, and the individual's right to own or possess firearms in the future. The Act provides for a penalty of $10,000 for certain violations. A willful attempt to evade or defeat a tax imposed by the Act is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $100,000 fine ($500,000 in the case of a corporation), under the general tax evasion statute. For an individual, the felony fine of $100,000 for tax evasion could be increased to $250,000.”

Commitment To Buy? Read This!

Before this turns into an avalanche of issues... If you communicate (PM, email, thread post, etc.) to the seller of an item that you would like to purchase something that is advertised, your word becomes your bond. A contract, as it were. Backing out because you found it cheaper somewhere else is not a valid reason for tanking the deal.

Do your homework first. Unprofessional behavior, crawfishing on deals, and the like will not be tolerated.

You can also now edit and close your own threads. This will be done on a test basis to see how it works.

To edit your threads (all users) double click about a half centimeter to the right of your thread topic, inside the forum view (Where you see all of the threads). You can then type what you want it to say. If you're reducing the cost of your weapon, or if you're wanting to put SOLD on it , you can do that now.

You can also open and close your threads by clicking on Thread Tools, Close. This could be helpful if your item has been sold, or your question has been answered, or whichever the case, but use it sparingly, this is only in beta for a few weeks until we decide if we want this for Premium Members Only. Normal users will not have the close thread priveledge.

Please be aware that offering items for sale or trade without pictures severely restricts the number of people who would consider a purchase. Offering to send pictures via email is usually not considered to be any better than no pictures at all. Bandwidth is cheap and it's easy to include a picture or two. Don't limit yourself.

Thank you for marking your item as sold when it does sell. Although all Marketplace posts are purged after 60 days, marking items as sold will reduce the amount of needless inquiry on your item. Further, there is no need to remove pricing information, descriptions, etc. Some folks may be considering buying or selling similar items and leaving that information available for the short window of time that Marketplace posts are retained can be helpful to other.
