Default New to suppressors - which one for a P30?

I know nothing about suppressors really.

I want to get one for a P30 before this ban kicks in.

So what kind do you guys suggest for this gun?

What specs should I be looking at?

I should probably plan on spending 500-700 on just the can correct?

Any tips and pointers will be appreciated.

Call out some specific names of cans you suggest also and why you like that particular one.

    thanks.

The trouble is the attachment on the barrel.
A week or so ago a fellow here posted pictures of his threated P30.
    Do a search. Also a 9mm suppressor is $595 see http://www.yankeehillmachine.com/store/cobra9mm.html

yes I plan on having mine threaded with an adapter also.

What is good about that trident?

What specs should I be looking for?

What is the procedure to get a suppressor stamp?

I have the form 1, but if I haven't purhased the can yet, how can I fill it out?

You need to buy a suppressor from a FFL/SOT in your state.
The FFL will fill out all the paperwork and it will cost you beside the suppressor $200 for the stamp.
    What state are you from?

That is completely untrue. You only have to TRANSFER through an SOT in your state. Many people purchase suppressors from out of state dealers because they are cheaper, even with your local dealer charging a transfer fee.

+1. I scare myself sometimes when I look at how cheap I sell everything!!!

Also look into the EVO9 from AAC. It is more of a Pistol can, the Trident is more of a Subgun can that you can use on a pistol. With that said- I like them both on my USP SD.

Well if you want to split hears.
Button line is, without a FFL/SOT in your state you can't receive a suppressor and you are adding extra 2 month at this time to your waiting.
I also doubt that you safe any money, since you would have to pay for the shipping and transfer fee.

    Also, the AAC is $795.
I would like to know what makes the AAC $200 better then the $595YHMC or the $699 Gemtech.
It certainly is not the friendly competed customer service AAC does not have!

Marc- sorry but I have to bring out my WRONG stamp on this one. My form 3 transfers have been running around 18-25 days. That is less than 2 months. I can ship you a can and you pay 75$ for a transfer and you are still paying less than MSRP which most dealers charge then you have sales tax on top. AAC does research and developement and they also have great customer service. The AAC is more- because it is better at suppressing pistols. I own a YHM Cobra, I have shot it then the EVO 9- the EVO wins hands down. This is a life time purchase= why settle for something?

This is about the customer- not your apparent hate for AAC.

I have both, and the Evo 9 is not even close to the Trident 9.

    Get the Trident 9.
