Default Rim Country PDW Barrel came In..

Just got a threaded Rim Country MFG PDW barrel for a SP89 barrel swap. They were out of standard PDW barrel's so they sent me the threaded model. Looks to be a very nice made barrel with 16 flutes and a concentric thread with protector. I measured most of it with calipers and seems to be right on par with my HK MP5 barrel.

Will have to wait till I get the SP89 and the swap done to tell if it works as good as it looks. Anyone else running one of these in their SP89? Mike said he is down to 1-2 barrels, then he will have to tool up to make more.

I don't have personal experience with their barrels but I have heard nothing but good things about them.

after you get it installed and running, post a report and let us know how she does!

I bought one of the very same barrels from Mike for an upcoming build. It should be here this Friday. From what I hear they make first-rate products.

    Question

I received an email on Monday stating the the barrels were done and the price (I 'm hoping it's a mistake) was $225... that's $50 more than what's listed on the website.

    Anyone else experience this?

With the raise in the price of steal they most likely had to raise the price to keep up.

He was being interviewed by a British journalist. The journalist asked,"What do you think the last thought is in the head of a deer before you shoot it? Is it, `Are you my friend? Or is it, Are you the one who killed my brother?'"

Nugent replied, "They aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away.' They are very much like the French in that way

Even with the increases in steel, there's not $50 of steel in that barrel to begin with.
