To have kept it up this long is just amazing. When you start shooting your P2000 again, like LaRue said, those interested can send you some ammo. Let us know. I'll be more than happy to contribute.
Get clean shots, watch your background.
I hope you start this thread back up by the end of the summer Greg!I have gotten bored with shooting my P2000. The gun just works. It’s like the damn Maytag ads. This weekend I shot my Colt XSE and my Kahr PM9 just to change things up. Using my 8 round Kimber mag my Colt jammed up nicely (ahh, just like old times). It put me to thinking. I want to put the P2000 on vacation for a while. So, I cleaned it and put it in storage. I will get back to it after a while. I realized I wanted to shoot my Kahr a little more, since it is usually what I carry.
I will still keep up with my shooting, but the whole 400-600 rounds a week through the P2000 thing is going to taper-off. I wonder if my Kahr could handle that abuse? Or my Colt. I doubt it. I certainly can’t imagine either going 13k without a malfunction.
do you have a stock trigger on your P2000 ?? I was just curious as I just bought a P2000 for everyday carry.
Boy, if you try and pee out a forrest fire all you are going to get is a burnt pecker.
Yeah, so how has this test progressed? Parts? Ammo count? Give us the current state of things including your observations of the weapon.
I have probably put aout 500-800 random rounds through it since June. The test is over! The gun is now in my safe taking a rest!
