P7. Best ever made.
I'm looking to make a handgun purchase soon and have some questions. I came here to ask them because I'm 99% sure I will be getting an HK. I have shot many handguns through the years, but I really loved the feel of my buddy's HK USP, and many of my friends rave about their HKs.
-I plan on getting a 9mm.
-I plan on using this handgun some for concealed carry, always for home/car defense, and some for messing around when at the ranch/range.
Which HK 9mm would you recommend for me and why?
I personally just picked up a HK USP 9mm and it is my all around gun… Until i get an HK P2000sk ;)
If you want a good conceal carry pistol i'd go with the HK USPc or P2000sk. Great compact size and of course great handguns :)
P7 is a highly accurate handgun. Would be a great choice as well. Good luck.
P7 is an excellent choice.
P7 is a great choice but if you prefer a new model I can vouch for the P2000 sk in 9mm. Easily carried concealed, robust with great ergonomics. Comes with three 10 round mags. I paid around 850 before tax.
HK45: http://pistol-training.com/archives/4027 50,000 rounds 1 stoppage 1 part breakage

HK45 full size (Me)
HK P2000 sk 9mm (Wife)
Remington 870 HD Ext Mag (both) because I find any wall in my house could be a great back drop for a messy painting

I vote for the P7 as well. Especially if those $500-ish PSPs are still available. I have a half dozen or so of various models of P7s...and am always looking for more. One of the best 9mms ever made.

Wow, maybe I need to try a P7. I used to own a P2000SK LEM in 9mm that I can recommend, it was a terrific pistol and concealed well, it just didn't fit my hand as well as I wanted. It's good to ask questions and do research, but I personally usually just end up getting in the right ball park then trying it anyways.
HA! I only opened this to see how many replies said "P7" looks like all of them! I have a PSP, have never seen it or shot it waiting for me when I get home from overseas, I bought purely based on feedback from HKPRO sight unseen and I can't wait to shoot it!

P7 for sure. And then when you're ready to get another hk, get another p7.
