    Default HK USP barrel question

    Can you put a USP tactical barrel in a regular fullsize USP? Would that cause any problems?

    Has anyone done something like that to run a can on a USP?

    The full size USP45 and USP45 Tactical barrels are fully interchangeable.

    Yep, .40 tac barrels drop right in. Just make sure there are no burrs on the inside of the barrel opening of the slide, you can run a q-tip around the inside of the opening to find out.

    Not a HK barrel but a match grade stainless one.

    Great looking pistols. Who besides HK sells aftermarket barrels for the USP? Do they sell threaded ones?

    Correct. The O-rings do not make a difference on barrel interchangeability.
    The only USP models that have fitted barrels as I recall are the Elite's.
    The length of the locking block is fitted by hand before they are test fired and shipped.
