Great info in this thread
Great Post, I was hitting low too. Picked up HK45 this weekend and it does not disappoint, Very nice weapon.
I submitted the warranty card on line per directions in the box, and figured I would get an e-mail reply, but have received nothing. Is this normal? Should I expect it through regular mail?
Thanks
From a noob, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I have been mostly a revolver and rifle user, and am new to the polymer guns and automatics. I know the basics and the functions. Is it possible to damage the weapon by cleaning to often or to hard? Have had a Security Six for years and have not rubbed the bluing off yet. Is there any special considerations for avoiding cleaning abuse on the polymer platforms?
BTW, have been out of shooting pistols for years, and this HK45 just lines itself up on the target each and every time. Looking forward to adding more HKs to the locker.
I really like the Blackhawk SERPA CQC holsters . I have used them for years and think they are very comfortable and put a secure hold on your hk with out causing and holster rubbing like Fobus stuff . Botach tactical. com has serpa holsters with double mag pouches for $40.00 which is a great deal since the holster it self sells for 40 online and 50 to 60 at the range . They also have a easy to use level 2 push button retention system . more and More police depts are going with the SErpa holsters level 3 and 4 for duty and 2 for edc and concealment . Lots of military units are using blackhawk holsters as well for the money the quality is awesome I have 4 of them and they never let me down . Desantis makes some quality leather holsters too but i have come to prefer the Serpa over everything else. Give them a try .....
