    Default New to HK

Just wanted to say Hi and thanks for the great forum. I just recently purchased my first HK, it's a full size USP .40. Absolutely love the weapon! I have owned Glocks, Colts...ect and nothing shoots better than this. I paid $600 for what's shown in the picture and think I got a fair deal. I plan on selling the Black Talons and the Quick Comp Compensator sometime. Both those items bring some decent money so I won't have to much in this pistol.... That means I will be looking for it's big brother USP .45 soon! Thanks for your time.

Welcome to the forum. I'd try the comp before you sold it. Who knows, you might like it. I've never been a big fan of .40 S&W handguns. Both the Glock 22 and the Beretta 96 I found way to "snappy" (a lot of muzzle flip). The only .40 S&W pistols I own now are a Coharie Arms, and two ghilliebear2000 clones from HK parts. Congratulations on your purchase.

I have a box of each left in 9mm, 40 S&W, 10mm & 45. For my "carry" guns. But now I don't want to even use them for that.
