New USP 45 Owner

Hi Everybody, I'm a long-time gun owner that has finally bought an HK. I've wanted a USP ever since they came out in the 90's. With the current political climate I figured that it was now or never to get one with standard sized mags. So my USP 45 is on its way and will be here next week. With HK's great reputation I look forward to owning and shooting one of them.

I'm gonna guess that FS means full size. If so then that is what I got. The guy I bought it from sent an email offering 2 extra 12 round mags so I jumped on it and should have a new USP 45 w/4 mags by the end of the week.

I've owned 1911's for over 25 years and do like my Sig's but always considered HK as kind of the Mercedes Benz of semi-auto pistols. Glad to finally be getting one.

Your figuring out the Lingo that goes on around here! IMO, you will find that the 1911 and USP really arent that different from one another but at the same time miles apart in operation. I find they kind of have a funny relation.

Now get as much ammo and mags as you can afford, you will never wear it out.

Ferrari? Wow, I didn't know HK's were that exotic.

Actually I've considered HK a luxury brand with rock-solid dependability. Like a Mercedes. Both are in a class all by themselves.
