Hello
New guy from Missouri has a question about a HK 91 "never fired" in Desert stripe color that I just purchased. Can anyone suggest a paint color match for this? I am thinking about trying to paint a couple of extra mags to match the one that came with the rifle. Or if anyone has "Desert stripe" color mags for sale?
thanks
Gary
HK sold these and a green camo version in the 80s but they were not good sellers. I've heard the desert version was the pattern made for the Saudi military at the time. The original mags are hard to find, I would just do the rustoleum thing on them(extra mags)...Lowes or HD can match the paint. BTW Welcome to the forum, where are you in Mo?
The desert magazines will be much more difficult to find than the woodland magazines--- congratulations on an excellent acquisition--- some pics would be nice!!!
Thanks for the pic--- that is absolutely gorgeous --- can you PM me the date code and full serial???
Tony
