P7 Mags M8 and PSP interchangable in a PSP?

I was just wondering if M8 magazines would work in PSP? I assume they would but I was just wondering. I think M8 mags are not as readily available as PSP mags are right now. Am I right?

iirc m8 mags lock high up on the front , and psp mags lock low on the back . Some m8 mags had the locking hole cut low on the back , but you would have to grind off the locking " teat " on the front to use it in a psp . Since right now p7 mags are more expensive than psp mags this wouldnt make a lot of sense to even try , and would ruin the mag for the intended model .

It's because the mag is held in at different spots in each gun.

The M8 has the mag release catch at the bottom of the trigger guard like the USP does, so on the M8 mags the hole for the mag catch is on the front up high.

The PSP has the mag release at the base of the pistol behind the magazine, so the hole for the mag catch is on the back of the mag down low.

The mag release mechanisms are in different places, that's what does it.
