Thumbs up 19x36mm Flares for HK EFL

...just wanted to pass the word that the 19x36mm Flares for the HK EFL are going back into production pretty soon...

...but the price will be 10 Euros per Flare. Hope that the price will drop after they have produced their first batch or two for the German military...

    cheers,

how did you come into this info? Do you know if they'll be sold in the US?

    Thanks

Problem is the US DOT reclassifed these flares many years ago as explosives and thus they have to be transported on exposilve rated trucks. That makes them impossible to distribute for commercial purposes. That is why they stop being available years back even when they were still in production - they were still being made then but too expensive to sell/deliver to other that government agencies.

Unless someone from Germany shipped them into the US, perhaps without following a few requirements here and there. Not that I know of someone who did that.

Doubtful. If they did they better stear clear of the DOT and ATF folks, unless the classification has been changed.

    FYI...

I just got a message that the German Bundeswehr did start producing these again. Now the overstock is beeing sold to the public.

They are offering the following as long as supplies last...

    4582 x RED
    2208 x WHITE
    2398 x GREEN

    Price € 9,95 per Flare w/o Tax !!!

The Flares are packed and sold as a five Flare package.
Price for the five Flare package is € 59,20 - Tax included !!!

Shipping in Germany (up to 5kg) is € 14,50 - because of being explosives.

If anyone is interested I can send you contact information.

...sorry, but I don't know how to LEGALLY bring them into the USA. I wasn't offering that either, I was just passing along the information.
Maybe someone can import them over a ATF Form 6 Part 1, I don't know.
