    Syntyr

    Pronounced (sin-tear)

From the Gaelic words Syn = Sun and Tyr = Power

Not that sun power has anything to do with me or the nickname I just liked the combo of Syntyr and how it rolls off the tongue. I have been using this handle on Fidonet, BBS's, Gaming, Gopher and the WWW for a long time.

Oh and I am a proud owner of an HK USP Compact 40 HE finish with Mepro night sights to keep it HK Related ;-)

    Hoolygun directed me to HKPRO.

How about it Hoolygun where does your handle come from?

    Skunkabilly: a hillbilly skunk!

Hillbilly because I play banjo, dobro (so-so), mandolin (poorly), guitar (poorly) and fiddle (poorly).

The skunk is from the days in the campus apartments, my roommate's girlfriend made him 'take care' of her stuffed panda for some reason. He'd make me say goodnight to the thing as a joke. My favorite toy as a kid was a stuffed skunk puppet, so I brought it back down to school. It regained my interest as one of my favorite toys, and yes, I still sleep with it.

I used to be Squinky, but for some reason, there's a lot of squinky's out there so I dropped it. So far, no Skunkabilly's.
