This is not my article nor am I affiliated with this person I just found the information interesting.
For what it is worth, I enjoy my H&K's alot but I also own quite a few other brands that I enjoy as well.

Some truth there. The HK folks at the AUSA show were not the most friendly unless you were wearing cammo... And marketing is HUGE! Look at Bose speakers, great marketing...just ok sound.
They do cost a bit more, is it worth it? If you can afford it, prob. My M3 cost more to me than a Vette. Almost as fast, but had better quality and features than the Vette, and I could afford it.... It felt better to me, so it was worth the price. Even though a vette guy will say his was faster and better...
Ask most who are in the know, they they'll say "A master carpenter will use any hammer you give him…” Two hammers may look the same, but one will "feel" better to him, so thats the better one...

Yes, that article is indeed the "WAY IT IS". My Springfield SAR4800 smokes my G-3. The Veprs I have are EQUAL in fit and finish to HKs I own the only difference is they are infinitely more reliable and accurate.
One mans opinion.
