LOL. I'm pretty sure they didn't want you to be able to go prone. There was a target out near 300 yards that was completely obscured by ground--all you could see was the stem holding the plate. But ballistics being what they are, you were able to literally 'lob' the round up and over the dirt, and hit the plate. It was a fun stage.
