    Default 416 buffer question

    Hey Guys,

I may be able to score myself a 416 upper, but the supplier can only get the upper but without the HK buffer and spring (the one with HK stamp plus a red dot in the center), so just wonder if you folks would know if it can function flowlessly with just a standard AR buffer + spring.

ps. it will be a semi only lower

    :) Thanks heaps! :)

You should be OK with a heavy "H2" buffer and heavy spring. The tungsten buffer is used to slow the cycling rate on the class 3 lower.

    Ted Nugent on deer hunting.

He was being interviewed by a British journalist. The journalist asked,"What do you think the last thought is in the head of a deer before you shoot it? Is it, `Are you my friend? Or is it, Are you the one who killed my brother?'"

Nugent replied, "They aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away.' They are very much like the French in that way

Find the correct HK buffer and spring for the upper. It's function is important in the overall weapon function. They should be available through HK direct or one of the better HK parts suppliers.
