I can't make it out, but I believe you. If there's one thing that HK likes to do, and do it well, it's accessorizing weapons/offering options to buyers with modularity in mind.
The rail panels on this french "Commando de l'Air" 's HK416 are marked HK!

I've never come across these before! Does anybody know where they can be bought?
Thx!!!

If you've got an image that can be blown up enough to see more definition (and the HK logo!), I may be able to figure out who made the things and we can go from there.

Looks like its just the basic panel made by Tango Down to me. may be just like the OEM pistol grip which were made for the older 416 in the US?
Do you have the enhanced image?
Looks like TD to me
This thread is half way to a fail.

Fostering fear is good for business.
I seriously doubt that HK made accessory rail panels for it...
Maybe Tango Down made them specifically for the HK 416.
The older 416 did sport the TD pistol grip, but the one pictured has the newer E1 stock on it, so I am guessing it is a new model 416.
Just because you have not seen them, doesn't mean they don't exist.
That is a May 09 issue magazine, so they just might be a new product from TD, and not available to us yet.
After all, LE & Military will certainly get that stuff before we do..
Just my thoughts.....
