Looks like a 6.8 follower to me. HK made a small batch of 6.8 mags for field trials and testing.
Whats the company that is making copys of HK mag's for korean's.
Ted Nugent on deer hunting.
He was being interviewed by a British journalist. The journalist asked,"What do you think the last thought is in the head of a deer before you shoot it? Is it, `Are you my friend? Or is it, Are you the one who killed my brother?'"
Nugent replied, "They aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, 'What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away.' They are very much like the French in that way
Kiwi:
From the photos you have posted you have a 5.56mm Blank Firing Safety Magazine produced by HK GmbH in Germany. The front image shows two openings were the latch would otherwise be located. Someone has removed them. This magazine was initially created for the British Army for use in their SA80A2's along with the Safety Blank Firing Adapter (SBFA) and has since been adapted for the HK416, M4, M16, etc. With the latches in place it is designed not to accept more than 3 live rounds. Why 3? Because the SBFA will "catch" up to 3 live rounds. Both were developed to eliminate deaths caused in training were live rounds get mixed in black firing magazines. The Germans use a similar SBFA on the G36 and MP7.

G3K, hey what can I say? Ever thought of writing a book of Hk? you da man! :)
Thanks Kiwi
Wrote many: G11 manuals, 1st USP manuals, MP5/10 and MP5 Family manuals, etc., etc. :)
Some of the old timers from HK are collecting notes for the real inside story of HK. Should be a good, interesting read! Look for it in the check out isle at your local grocery store.
