Just wanted to see if anyone else is using or liking the ACT trigger in either their MRs or ARs. To date I have about 5000 rnds through it and it's still smooth and crisp. I decided to use the Surefire brake. The recoil is next to nothing. If anything it feels more rearward with hardly any noticeable flip.

Going to switch up to the SSA trigger and use the ACT in a Noveske build. ;)

I've had the ACT installed in my MR556 lower receiver for some time now. I really like this setup. The price point and the fact that it is a mil-spec FCG is a big plus in my book. Unfortunately, my 14.5" upper setup on the HK factory MR lower is neither my primary nor secondary setup, so it has yet to see any "hard" use. Upon initial installation, I had a 1.1-4x Short Dot on the gun. The ACT felt noticeably better than the factory FCG for precision fire. For the experienced shooter with good trigger control, the ACT can perform in this roll.

Some will compare the ACT to a properly "broken-in" mil-spec trigger pull. I don't think this does the ACT justice. Although my Colts (purchased just after the AWB ended) are properly broken in, they still have a touch of creep and a slightly heavier pull than the ACT. My only regret is that my Colts don't have mil-spec pins to allow me to switch all of my guns over to the ACT.

That's cool, Pointblank. It's definitely better than factory.

I have three well broken in mil-spec triggers and initial creep is more gritty than ever. I believe the different finishes, on the hammer and on the trigger, help to keep it going this many rounds in. But then again, it's a piston rifle with hardly any major clean up to do. Once I get it into my DI build, I'm going to see how many more rounds I can put through it without cleaning before feeling any degradation.

I just finally got around to ordering one a few days ago. Can't wait to try it out. I'll let you know what I think.

I've been running an ACT trigger. The pull is short and has a nice crisp break to it. The nickle finish is a nice touch. Great trigger at the right price point!

You'll love it John. BTW, still doing crazy drone flybys over your hometown? :) Can I share a video link of your flying skills here? My kids love watching it.

Yeah. It's such a great performance investment for the price. I'm surprised it's holding up so well with how many rounds I've put through it. I've already got a bunch of LEOs using it in their duty rifles. Same feedback from them as well.

I am waiting for these to come back into stock so I can pick up 2. Can't afford the mr556 model so this is my alternative trigger.
