I'm more interested in the .308.
.223 piston guns are becoming abundant.
I like the .308 round so the 762 would be my choice between HKs two newest rifles. I realize their an abundance of lower priced ARs on the market, but that's not what I'm interested in. A gas piston HK is what I'm looking for. It will all boil down to the final market price that HK comes up with. If it's within reason, as HKs go, I'll purchase one. If not I'll look for another HK91, or perhaps a CZ vZ58 Tactical Sporter. I think the new MR223 and MR762 will sell well in the US. I also think they'll be a superior quality rifle compared to many of the AR models on the market today. Notice I said many, and not all of the ARs. I don't want to get flamed by the AR for lunch bunch. ;)

I love my H&Ks
I'll take one of each.

I hate the idea that the MR223 lower won't work with AR uppers. When/if they come out, they will sell quickly. Alot of people love the HK name. Look at the SCAR, when they first came out $6-9000 on Gunbroker. I saw a Steyr AUG on Gunbroker for $2500. I want a MR223, 762, SCAR16, 17, and a Steyr AUG. Hopefully I can at least afford 2 of them. One will be a 7.62 then a reasonable priced .223.
As a person who waited with baited breath for the HK45 and HK45c I have to say I hate waiting. I have a Sig556 and a Sig556 pistol and I am loving them. This could be a waiting game that HK will lose. With that being said I am more excited about the .308 than the .223.
