    BTW,
I've now been asked by two folks if groups or "syndicates" can bid on this package. The idea is that a group of individuals bid as one on the package and then divide up the spoils after the auction. The answer is yes! But please have only one bidder for your group.

Also, folks have been asking about the MR556A1 rifle. I assumed that *everyone* would know what t was because this is an HK board... You know what they say about assuming... And there are lots of folks from other boards who will have questions. So here is a link to the HK-USA site for the MR556:

    http://www.hk-usa.com/civilian_produ...56_general.asp

The MR556 is the civilian version of the HK416. The MR is NOT a select fire weapon!

Operation Hawkeye has been added to the benefit list. Will be getting a good link in short order. Great effort!

Folks have asked what Operation Hawkeye is...

On August 6, 2011, 31 highly decorated U.S. special operations warriors
gave their lives in Afghanistan in Operation Enduring Freedom. It was the
deadliest day to date in that conflict, and the largest single-day loss of
Navy SEALs in the history of that elite unit. Will Thomas, a 7th Grade boy
from Virginia, moved by the courage of the fallen and empathy for those
left behind, initiated Operation Hawkeye: a mission honoring the fallen and
rallying emotional and financial support for their loved ones using the
sport of basketball, working with the Navy SEAL Foundation other major
organizations, as well as the national grassroots community. Details on
this mission, which has expanded from an initial focus on the 17 fallen
Navy SEALs to encompass all the warriors involved in the mission, can be
found at Operation Hawkeye | Facebook. A CNN feature on Operation
Hawkeye can also be found at Hoops for Seals

Raffles are very problematic. Many states prohibit them because they consider a raffle to be a game of chance. Combine that with firearms and it turns into a major ordeal. Thought you should know...
