I would be in on a full-size 45 in FDE with the 45C style grip; basically I WANT the HK45 prototype Vickers and Hackathorn tested
Agreed. I would really like to have the prototype.

Give me the exact opposite. I'd also rather an OD frame. But heck, I will be in for one regardless.

I'd be willing. I'd take any HK in a limited run color set up. Wish I could get my hands on any of the older USPs with grey or tan frames. I just recently saw Glocks in a UDE frame at the gunshow in Lewisville TX last week.

You're almost definitely looking at a minimum order of a few hundred. . . probably 500. And they would all need to be pre-paid. Then, there would likely be a wait-time of at least a couple months to maybe even a year after HK agreed to run it.

If you are serious about approaching HK with this, you might as well get a list of at least six or seven hundred names of people who "SAY" they'll buy one and will prepay for it. Out of that six or seven hundred MAYBE half or a little more will actually put up the money if and when the time comes to gather the funds and place the $500,000.00 order.

Just calling HK and saying "There are 26 people on HKPro who say they want to buy a tan HK45 Compact" is not meaningful enough to even be likely to get their attention.
    HK is the way!
