Enlightened Moderation
The little experiment in "enlightened" moderation has come to an end. Some folks complained that the moderation of the site was a little too intense. Well, we've relaxed a bit and what do we have?
The HK focus has waned, the number of personal attacks and squabbles has increased and the general quality has decreased. None of these are good outcomes.
HKPRO means HK PROFESSIONAL. You are expected to behave as a professional when using this forum. Read the rules and abide by them. There are 1000's of gun forums you can join to pick fights with each other, argue over who has the best prices on bulk ammo, or opine on the relative merits of a pistol-mounted bayonet. If that's your topic, go there. This forum will stay HK.

I hate to say this, but I really hadn't noticed, any difference.......
I also will go a little further and say almost all of the post I do or read anymore were in the Premium Members section.
I will say that this has always been a tight ran forum, (speaking from personal experience,) and I enjoy it for that! Maybe I had stopped reading the other areas of this forum because of the lack of stronger guidelines.
I will and can only say that this is always a step in the right direction.

Good to hear, one reason I really liked HKpro was the fact that the internet arguing was not tolerated here. It got especially annoying in the for sale section when the ads turned into arguments.
