    The sight rail is the KAC long rail with flip-up sights.

    The flash hider is an IGF G36/HK 9x flash hider pending receipt of the factory G36 one (expecting it tomorrow from Adam/hkparts.net). I didn't like the factory 4-prong hider, as you can't readily mount a suppressor to it. I also didn't like the suppressor mounts, as they either got in the way of removing the forearm or only engaged the threads, leaving the splines, etc., visible. I like the fit and look of the birdcage-style flash hider, plus I can use the Gemtech Halo with it.

    I didnt5 know Hk was making the G36 with a newer style bolt release? I thought that was something Tbostic did to copy the xm8
