OK, OK, I got this a couple weeks ago and have always wanted a 54r but NOT a Mosin-Nagant. What does this have to do with HK.....well, check out the custom forearm. Thats right Heckler & Koch G3. No one has ever done this mod to an AK platform before but it is a good idea, full length heat shield and I like the way these HG's feel on my other HK weps. After WWII the Russkies ripped of everything German so this is a little payback, kind of, sort of, maybe. The gun though is a powerful little carbine and the weirdest thing is on the forearm, except the front being cut off, it fits perfect. No movement, no other mods except the swivel hole like it was actually made for this. Very peculiar.

VEPR's are some of the nicest AK varient's out there. And your handguard mod to it, makes it look even nicer.
You can get the ACE Receiver Block, and put a folder on it if you don't like the factory stock.

The factory stock was a wood thumbhole as is the HG. This is the way the are imported so I revised the furniture but thank you for the compliment. I do have a 7.62x39 and a 5.45 from back in the day.
