Talking My P30L now has a twin

My P30L 40Cal arrived today, just in time to keep the P30L 9mm company

    Both are "BC" date codes

Ha. Nice pics. I'm doing the opposite. I have the p30 40 and its so lonely that I'm getting the p30 9mm to keep it company. Don't you just love the p30? Just shot mine today and what a joy.

    Good combination.

Only thing I wished I had gotten the 9mm in LEM, instead of the V3 DA\SA. The 40cal is a V2 with the enhanced LEM and I cannot wait till tomorrow because the trigger action is much better.

OK. I'll bite. What is the "enhanced" LEM?

    From of course HK:

This is the model: M734002L-A5…P30L .40 S&W, Long Slide (V2) LEM, with two 13 round magazines

Variants with a conventional double-action/single action trigger have a serrated decocking button located on the rear of the frame. Variants with HK’s enhanced double action only Law Enforcement Modification* (LEM) trigger have no external decocking controls.

The HK Law Enforcement Modification (LEM) trigger system combines the advantages of a cocked striker component (constant level of trigger pull from first to last round fired) with a double-action hammer system. Using such an enhanced trigger system consolidates ease of use and safety into a convenient, innovative trigger operation—one that reduces the chance of unintended firing. And in case of an ammunition-related failure to fire, all that is needed is an additional second or third squeeze of the trigger without the need of first pulling the slide back to re-cock the pistol. The enhanced LEM trigger system combines the reliability of a double action revolver trigger with the crisp trigger of a single action pistol.

OK. I thought that was a new LEM variant that I didn't know about. It's just a standard LEM.

    lol!!!!

I know HK likes to embellish terms in some cases and for some reason whomever wrote that informational page, just didn't want to call it standard.

Yeah. It seems like a lot here really like the lem. I've been shooting sigs for 20 years and am used to the da/sa, so that's what I have in the p30. But now, its hk all the way. My sigs will be having a rest in the safe for awhile.
