Given the bastardization of the .40 S&W P7, my guess is a 10mm version was never even tried. You may know it it was, but I can't see that happening.

I did however just unwrap the new addition. So if you have seen my collection, you know I have one of the 5 BASR's that went to the Aurora, CO Police Department. It is in good shape but missing the original scope, and was probably shot a lot. Though rare (previously only 5 known to exist), it is not perfect. Mine is the first of the 5 (in serial number).

Well, I was contacted by a gentleman in Florida who was good friends with James Hare, the builder of the BASR. He has owned, for 20 years or so, the only other BASR known to exist. Not only that, he only fired a few rounds down the tube and it is almost flawless. This rifle is stunning. Serial number wise, it is one before the APD, so now I have a consecutive pair for those of you who like that kind of stuff.

This is the real deal. It came with the target that James Hare shot, then signed and dated. Hold on to your seats for this one. His 3 shot group at 100 yards measured, .03 inches!

I will get some good pics tomorrow in the daylight and post them. I hope yall are as excited as I am.

Can somebody enlighten me about that "HK SSG" sniper rifle? It seems it was made in 1995 (because of the KF marks) but.. who was the manufacturer of the whole gun? Was it made for the German G22 trials?

Thanks in advance for the answer!

    Default Here they are

OK. I realize these pics are not great. Night time and bad lighting. But, I wanted to get something up for you to see. I posted 2 pics. One of the full left side of the BASR along with the target signed by James Hare where he shot a 3 shot group of .03"

The second pic is a close up where you can see the serial number etc. I will try again this weekend when I can take some daytime pics where the lighting is better.

Also, I am working on a website that I think will show off the pics much better than what is there now and allow easier navigation. Suggestions welcome.

    Default Vault

So I don't know if this means I need to change the name of my collection from "Bo's Grey Room" to "Bo's Red Room," but I finally finished my vault this past weekend and started putting some of the guns in it. It is by no means finished but I think I like the way it is looking and I wanted to share with you. Let me know what you think.

    Thumbs up Vault Room Collection...

    Bo,

The vault room looks very impressive sir... The Red walls bring out the rich HK allure...

Are you going with the FORT KNOX floor and ceiling entry safe door ??? or something else ???

All you need is Cherry Wood racks or hangers for a sweet touch...

I went with the dust / static free fabric with my room...

    Your room is looking good...
