Default Invite for the 4th (FRIDAY)

I would like to extend an invite to anyone who attends our shoots to come to the house (mine) on the 4th.

I plan to cook (with plenty of help from Kristen)

Im planning on taking the 6x6 with anyone who wants to go anywhere we can reach on 80 gallons of fuel. Seating for probably 20+ ppl, and no telling how many could sit in the bed floor.

Might shoot some clays, some .22s, full auto or semi, I dont care, but I have a small berm, so it cant get too wild.

Figure on hotdogs, h/bs, c/bs. and the fixins.

It will be a rain or shine event, as I now have a 18'x32' tent for cover, and a shop if it gets too wild.

    Let me know!

Of course if anyone (that doesnt like their eardrums) would like to ride in the 6-by over to the C-Ville fireworks, we can do that too.

I have a small sampling of Fir3works from TN, the artillery ones. If anyone else has some, we can combine and have our own show.

Wow not everyone at once! lol

    No problems.

Anyway, I will post progress on the 5 Ton.
Here's a few of the install (yeah I ended up doin' it myself)

    And the finished prod.:

And, NO, the oil spill under the truck is not from me mis-judging where the oil filters drain, its from me spraying errant grass in the drive... ;)

This past week has seen the bed install, mud guards, tank guards, full service and lube. Lots of work, a little $$, and Im pretty proud. Big enough job for not having a full machine shop...

I am planning on going to the lake this weekend so I guess I wont be there.Thats a great offer.
The truck looks good.Hope you get a top on the bed so when I trade you for it it will be just how I like it.I would also like a gun turret or 1919 mount in the passenger seat as well.

    OK sounds good.

Debating now on the big tent going up..seems like another sizeable project, but if'n it rains, it would be worth it.

As for the questions about shooting, we'd have to keep this tame and sensible.

I have about a 5.5-6' berm, about 10' long? and cant let errant rounds onto neighboring property.

The clay shooting works OK because of the line of trees on the property line, keeping the shot on me.

Anywho, Ill keep an eye on the weather, and plan accordingly.

May end up putting the 6-by in the Taylor co parade.
