Thanks for the heads up. Been trying to find a reason to go up there other than the casinos.
I am sure most folks around Shreveport / Bossier are aware that places to shoot are few and far between, unless you own some land outside of town....Shooters World, In Bossier is an indoor range but I personally wouldn't rate it very high. Its been there for many, many years and I have shot there many times but they are not very kind toward rapid firing and Class III....."count to 5 before pulling the trigger on another round!"
As a Class III owner and one that likes to run "double tap" set-ups, I am not always looked upon as a "Gentleman Shooter."
There is a new range that has been built about 20 minutes South of Shreveport, down I-49. Long Range Alley is a project by a local investor/businessman and has been done RIGHT! *They are Class III friendly and the folks shooting there are very nice and happy to see safe shooters of all types.

Happy Shooting.
PS: I think they also rent some Class III....not 100% sure though.

What the hell?![]()
FYI You have to be a member to shoot there and No ClassIII rentals.
Long Range Alley, or Trinity Tactical, is 10 minutes south of Shreveport on I-49. It's a well maintained range with ten pistol bays with reactionary targets along with an assault deck and 1,000 yard rifle range. This fall, 2010, they will be opening a kill house and a mock village for assault rifle training. I am a member and highly recommend this range to anybody within driving distance. They are VERY class 3 friendly. I have never had a problem when I bring my belt guns.
