I grew up in rural CT, not that CT is rural by most standards, but living next to a farm and a state park gave me some woods to explore. My first gun was a Daisy 880. I picked it up at the city dump and after epoxying the barrel back in, and giving it a new paint job, I had a real rifle! I still have that bb gun though I haven't taken it shooting in quite a while. I guess that really happened about the time I bought my pistol, the HK USPc v1 in 9mm. That gun is a pleasure to shoot and it holds more than one round!
Currently I'm selling roll pins and picking up odd jobs as I save toward a long gun. I would really like an MP5, though I've never shot one. I will probably be practical though and buy a deer rifle now that the population seems to be coming back.
