Hey Mark, I'm Tom and live over here in Gibsonton Fl. I got into HK's last year and I own two P30's in .40 an 9mm. I have been struggling with my choice for my first AR. I'm not new to them but I have never owned one and I am set on a piston gun. So here is my dilemma. I initially was really hot on the Mr516, handled it at Shoot Straight, it oozed quality and I didn't want to put it down. Well, the price doesn't bother me. Nor does the fact that I would have to buy Emags ( new style Pmags not yet released are supposed to work). but there are some red flags. It is too heavy for one and I really don't welcome the idea of immediately sending it to Jayson to reprofile. Questions about the barrel finish (Grumpy). Proprietary. etc. So I'm back to looking at the LWRC SPR 14.7" pinned or waiting for the IC. My primary use would be close range work. Am I barking up the wrong tree here? I know you went with a LaRue custom over the MR762 for similar reasons.
