Big Bore, I posted the following on the forums. You seem to be the go-to guy on the subject. Will you help me with this?

I have recently purchased a USPc LEM .40 and I want to add a safety. Is there an expert out there who will help me figure out the parts I need?
This will essentially be a V7 to V5 job. Thanks.

    I already have a control lever #214184.
I still need to find a hammer axle #214303
will I need a sear, detent or any other parts?
    Thanks for your help

My e-mail address is public so if you click on my handle it will take you to my profile and you can PM or e-mail me from there. If you want to shoot lead you can do no better than a Jarvis barrel. They are match grade, every bit as accurate as a HK barrel, and are conventionally rifled so case bullets are good to go. I have a Jarvis barrel and know quite a few who use them in 1911s and IMO there is not a better barrel on the market. They have good customer service also from my experience.
    Good luck.

Hello again Big Bore.... Thanks for the you sent a couple of week ago or so.... Just like to know if I can get your addy so I can write you more direct, or suggest an avenue I can use to contact....
I'd like to shoot lead from my USP, but understand that I shouldn't from the stock barrel. Can you recommend a good quality barrel that I can feel safe shooting lead.... I'll be out of town for a little while, so you might not here from me quickly. Thanks evevr so much for the help and being for us all on the board!!!! John
