MKE AT-94P SD Conversion

Hi,

Do you know if the MKE AT-94P can use a SD handguard and fake can? I've been told that the trunion and front sight blade need to be replaced, but can that be done with the same barrel? Seems like between HKparts, HKSpecialist, and Robert RTG, and E&L, they have all the parts I could need. Just not sure if they can all be put together easily.

I'm in CA so it's a purely cosmetic installation for the handguard with a fake SD can.

Any advice would be appreciated.
