    Default MP7 Range report

Had an opportunity to put 200 rounds through an MP7 Saturday. Initially we had it set up with an Aimpoint Comp M2 and I have to admit I thought the gun didn't really work ergonomically. It felt like a little stutter-bug; controllable but just didn't feel comfortable to shoot.

After 50 or so rounds I took the Aimpoint off and used the factory sights (folded); this allowed me into a proper firing position and WOW what a difference. Once you are holding this thing correctly instead of looking over the gun for the dot it is as if the gun marries your body. After that it was an unstoppable little beast. Controlled pairs, failure to stop drills etc. Doubles on full auto were no problem and of course the gun functioned 100%.

Honestly the ergos of this piece take it out of the niche category and make it much more useful for more general use.

    I really liked it.

So who made this MP7 clone? I didn't realize that anybody was making an MP7 clone.

Ahhh. Thanks. I'm a little slow on the uptake today. Fixed.

Not a problem, just trying to tidy up.

BTW - how much was the ammo? I'd like to get one of those, but as hard as ammo is to find for it, and I'm sure expensive, I'll likely stick to one of the .223 or 9mm offerings.

Then again, I'd love one of those just to take apart and see how it's built.
