I've been waiting a LONG LONG time for the chance to own this lovely setup custom made for me to my specification - it just shipped to me from John at 5 Shot Leather. All sharkskin, with hand-tooled leather accents. There is also a matching OWB w/ mag carrier for my P7M8 which is not pictured, same style and leather. The first half of the set (which is pictured) is for my Glock 29.

That looks nice. I sent back my one and only 5 Shot holster because of lousy retention around the trigger guard. That was over a year ago now and so it might be a better product these days.

Overall, I am pleased with the rig. The mag carrier for the P7M8 was actually cut for the P7 mags... so I had to send it back. But John was very responsive and agreed to fix it right away. It's on its way back to him now.

The retention on the rig is certainly solid for both my Glock 29 and the P7M8... both holsters are definitely a tight fit (almost too tight, in my opinion). Given, both holsters do need to be broken in, but the guns just don't "snap in" out of the box like my Del Fatti leather does. The Del Fatti leather I have fits absolutely perfectly day one, without exception - it's just perfect in every way.

IMHO - John at 5 Shot definitely makes an excellent rig. I don't regret my purchase one bit, and he was a pleasure to deal with. But I do believe, in terms of fit and finish, that it is still one full step below Josh Bulman and Matt Del Fatti.

Since I love holster pictures, this is going to be one of my favorite threads! I will separate my pictures by categories:

1. IWB (Inside the Waist Band) holsters

2. OWB (Outside the WaistBand) holsters

3. DCC (Deep Concealment Carry) holsters (ex. Pocket, Ankle, Shoulder etc.)

4. CHW (Concealment Holsters Worn). I just made that up, lol! Basically, pictures of holsters being worn.

I've seen twincarry's collection and if you can rival that I would be truly astounded. You two are still the kings of HK holster I would imagine though. My 3 simply don't hold a candle. Lol
