Safariland ALS holsters for P30 works with hk45c

prior to picking it up off of layaway I was trying to see what holsters I can use for my HK45c. Hoping I can find one from Safariland for duty and a paddle holster I was having no luck. I even called Safariland and the person I spoke to said they didnt have anything in an ALS. So, today after I got home with my new toy. I was inspecting it and my duty belt was on the couch. The holster I have on my belt is a Safariland ALS for my P30. So, I said what the hell and tried to see if it would work and it dropped in exactly like my P30! I was like, Damn! Then I tried it with my ALS paddle holster and poof the same thing. Both fit like glove. Now I can qualify with it and add it to my qualification card for work and not worry about looking for a duty holster.

could you post the model number & size code of the duty holster you are talking about... Safariland has said they can't get the ALS to work on the HK45, so we've been stuck with standard SLS holsters (ie. 6280)... and does your duty holster accept a weapon mounted light?

Has anyone else tried this? If the HK45c will work in an P30 ALS holster, then I will buy one.

I currently carry a P226R/ALS(6360) combo at work, and would like to make the switch to a v3 HK45c, but I won't use any other holster. I have contacted Safariland several times regarding this, but they say that they have no plans to make an ALS for the HK45 or "C" version. Not enough demand according to them.

In my experience lots of HK45C and P30 holsters are interchangeable.

Yeah i read the HK45c and P30 can share the same holster. Video anyone?

I'm sure that the P30 and HK45c can share a lot of kydex and leather holsters, but I'm talking specifially about the ALS. The Safariland ALS holsters have a lock that holds the pistol securely in the holster via the ejection port on the slide. My question is if the HK45c locks securely into an ALS made for the P30.

My HK45C works perfectly in my ALS 6377 for the P30. P2000 also works perfectly in the P30 6377.

Have not seen anyaround but if it says x200 on it you should be able to use it as well.

I will call Safariland tomorrow and see for you if you have not already done so.
