We do what fargo007 does, there is no need for the factory Sd cleaner when you can use a 1" PVC pipe 12" long with a 1/2" Battery cleaner or pipe cleaner and super glue them together, here are some pics. FYI never use an ultrasound our MP5SD suppressors it will remove the anodizing as well as wear the baffles till they are loose from the ultrasonic vibration.
Kind of make you wonder why some guys want an integrated can with their SD? Just to save $200 on the transfer.... still HK doesn't make a serviceable SD can, but still not an excuse for not pulling the can off and giving it a scrub.
Wow. Shakes head. I built the same DYI cleaning tool TPM Outfitters shows in the post above. Think it cost me about $7 in hardware store parts and glue. There is a good thread on this forum with detailed instructions.
Here it is; MP5SD – Barrel port brush/tool build

Man that is nuts. Thanks for sharing!
Impressive that the guns still worked. An unintended torture test, if you will.
And on the eighth day, God made the HK P7...and he saw that it was good.
That's absolutely unforgivable. Maintenance folks should be flogged.

This is a cross section of the front of the HK FACTORY MP5SD suppressor we cut. It's amazing the hole the bullet was bouncing through, the overall carbon build up with the layers is similar to a tree.
You dont get to see this everyday. That is something else!
