| The P2A1 single
shot signal pistol is one of the more collectible items sought after by HK
enthusiasts. First designed in 1974, the P2A1 is yet another
brainchild of prolific HK firearms genius Helmut Weldle.
Technical data on the flares that it launches indicates that the flares will reach a height of 200 meters when fired at a 45 degree angle, will burn for about eight seconds, and are available in red, white and green colors. Though the P2A1
occasionally is spotted for sale on the Internet, flares appear to be much
harder to obtain. |
