I received my FA HK Binary Firing System package today. I'll be installing it ASAP.

EDIT: I've installed the BFS into a Malaysian 0-1-25 polymer lower, and it fit perfectly. So far, I've installed that lower and pack into my HK94 and a BW5 SBR--in both, that pack fit perfectly and went through all the function checks perfectly. Only thing left is to load up some mags and hit the range . . .

N.B.: I have no problems at all with the aesthetics of the Franklin-supplied safety lever. I must admit that it probably looks better on a polymer pack than on a metal one; however, that's just my $.02.

    Sparkplugs are irrelevant.
    Plenty of HK's and clones.

    ^ Cool!

How does the selector feel, are the controls "assertive" or mushy? Thanks in advance.

The controls feel just fine. I don't find it mushy, but the switch selection is smooth and without heavy force required. The upshot is that you won't have to "fight" your selector to put it where you want it and it's not going to move on its own.

As an aside, I think the selector lever(s) are a perfect match for the Malaysian 0-1-25 lower. I loaded up and went to the range with the pack installed in a Bobcat Weapons BW5 SBR. Function was perfect in semi-auto and echo. The trigger pull was really sweet--reminds me of a pack with a Bill Springfield job. Hammered pairs are effortless with this device. I'm currently uploading a video and will post it when I can.

    EDIT: Here you go . . .

I wonder if we could get the mods to combine the two FA threads. Then some of you guys wouldn't have to post twice.

Supporting vendors can control threads within their own section, and as they're involved with this product, they are certainly welcome to have a thread about it. This has nothing to do with the thread in HK Heads Up.

No problem, I get it. The only reason I suggested the combining, is that I'm subscribed to both threads and read the same thing in both a lot of the time. Not trying to give anyone a hard time.
